Joshua Chavez grew up in Peralta New Mexico. He began riding steers at the age of eight and bulls at the age of eleven. Joshua rode in amateur, intercollegiate, and professional organizations. Through out the years he has gotten to know many great bulls. In 2000 Joshua's interest changed from riding great bulls to breeding and raising great bulls. Joshua, his wife Jennifer, along with there two children Damian and Emilee started J.C. Rodeo LLC. They started out with four head of cows that they bought from Marty Foutch and family at the -F Rodeo Genetics and a breeding bull that was purchased from Casey Willis and James Riley at KC & Double R Bucking Bulls. J.C. Rodeo strives to produce great animal athletes that can be matched against the great cowboy athletes through out the United States. The Chavez family believes that great bulls come from both great sires and great dams. |
